April Showers

April is living up to it’s fabled saying as rain shower after rain shower sweep over my garage. We have been fine tuning the dampers that our friend Rob had off the car over the winter to re-valve with the latest thinking coming out of Honiton. We took the car to Castle Combe to do a trackday last Friday which was great to get the car moving again and of course I have not been in the car since September last year. It was good to blow away the cobwebs at last.

So we are set for our season opener on May 5th at Silverstone International circuit. A great version of the tracks at the home of motorsport. We had an excellent race there last year and I was very quick. The competition is excited as well to renew the track battles and I am looking forward to kicking there dreams into touch so to speak.

The exhaust work has been finished and a remapping session is booked for next week so we should have a bit more torque to unleash and maybe a BHP or two

Dates are out

Hi everyone,

The CSCC have there dates out now which actually is probably one of the best they have ever put together. If we had the funds we would be doing all rounds but alas reality is we can only afford a few races in 2018 so with that in mind we are only going to run the Rover car this year in ” FUTURE CLASSIC’S”  . Definatly going to

Spa Francorchamps for sure, we have unfinished business after last years disaster. This year the club are taking us to Magny Cours in central France to race on the Grand Prix circuit which the great Michael Schumacher has the lap record of 1:15 blimey that looks quick. It might be a bit nippy in central France in October but some one has to be there ……………………me please, me please I’m over here
